I Will Not Apologize

Acrylic on canvas, 2024

Signed

66”x72”

This painting refuses the quiet it could have chosen. Magenta pushes against black, yellow flares through the bare ground, and the marks accumulate without hierarchy — each one staking its claim and standing by it. The drips are left intact. What might read as chaos is, on closer attention, a structure of decisions made and held; nothing here is being walked back.
